As you all know that girls are considered to be the burden of the house here, girls are not given equal status as boys, so that their education is not completed and girls are only engaged in household work to solve this problem. For this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started Kanya Sumangala Yojana for girls, through this scheme, the government will bear the cost of their education.
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced Kanya sumangala yojana in the UP Budget 2020 for girls. The objective of this scheme is to improve the level of health and education in women and bring positive changes in mentality towards them.
The state government of Uttar Pradesh has allocated 1200 crores for the successful implementation of this Kanya sumangala yojana. In the UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana, a pre-determined amount will be deposited at regular intervals in the name of the girl child to assist them in their education and marriage. This amount will be transferred to the girl’s bank account through Direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode. The female feticide rate will also be reduced through this scheme.

Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana Apply Online

Step 1. To apply online under Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, first of all visit the official website of the scheme mksy.up.gov.in
Step 2. Now you will see the link of “नागरिक सेवा पोर्टल (यहां आवेदन करें)” under the “शीघ्र संपर्क” section on the home page of the website, click on it
Step 3. Now a page of “Terms and Conditions” will appear in front of you, you have to read the Terms & Conditions carefully and put a checkmark on ” I agree (I agree) ” and click on the Continue button
Step 4. After this, the UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana online application form will open in front of you.
Step 5. Here candidates can enter all the required details and click on ” Send SMS OTP ” to complete the online registration process.
Step 6. After filling the form, candidates can log in on the official website given below.
Step 7. Enter the login ID and password to complete the UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana and after login, you can start the online application process
Kanya Sumangala Yojana Apply Offline
If someone does not have access to the internet and he wants to apply in this scheme, or maybe a person does not have much information of internet and due to this, he is not able to apply in the scheme. All such individuals can apply offline under the scheme.
To apply offline, you will have to get the online application of the scheme, for this, you have to submit the offline application form to the office of Development Block Officer, Probation Officer and Deputy Chief Probation Officer etc. from the scheme.
Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana Offline Application Form can be obtained from any of the above-mentioned offices free of charge, you have to fill the offline application properly attach the necessary documents to it and submit it to any of the above officers. After this, your application will be sent to the DOP by the District Probation Officer, after which the online feeding of your application will be done.
Friends, the offline process is quite complicated, so if you are unable to use the internet and cannot apply online by yourself, then you can apply online by visiting any of your nearest Customer Service Center CSC (जन सेवा केंद्र).
Although it is absolutely free to apply in the scheme, if you apply from a public service center, then the public service center operator can get a service fee from you.

Kanya Sumangla Yojana Online Application Stage
| Stage 1 | 2,000 rupees as a one-time (lump sum) on the birth of the girl, the girl should be born on or after 1 April 2019. |

| Stage 6 | The girl who has passed standard 10th or 12th and enrolls in at least 2 years diploma course or bachelor’s degree will get Rs 5,000 as a lump sum. |
UP MKSY Eligibility Criteria
If a girl’s parents are thinking to apply for this scheme then they should know what is the eligibility to apply in the scheme, so here we have told about all the eligibility criteria related to the scheme The application can follow:
- Kanya sumangala yojana will benefit only two daughters of a family
- Bank account is necessary to avail benefit of Kanya Sumangala Yojana
- The girl must be a native of Uttar Pradesh
- To take advantage of Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the annual family income should be less than 3 lakh rupees.
- If the woman gives birth to twins in her second delivery, the third girl will also be eligible. If 1 child is a girl and 2 twins are born from the second delivery, then all 3 girls will be eligible.
- If the family has adopted an orphan girl, a maximum of 2 girls will be benefited, including biological children and adopted girls.
UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana Installments 2022
- First installment will be given at the time of birth of the girl child
- Second installment will be provided at the time of vaccination
- When the girl is admitted to a school, then the third installment will be given to the girl
- When the girl reaches the sixth grade, the fourth installment will be given
- The 5th installment will be provided when that girl reaches class IX
- The 6th installment will be provided when the girl starts graduation
- The 7th installment will be deposited in the girl’s bank accounts at the time of the girl’s wedding-scheduled amount
