PM Modi has started the formation and promotion of PM Kisan FPO Scheme 2022 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) to open 10,000 FPOs, check the government order of this PM Kisan FPO Yojana from here, and check the application process. PM Kisan FPO Scheme 2022
The Central Government has launched the Formation and Promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) Scheme 2022. In this scheme, the PM Modi-led government will create 10,000 FPOs over a period of five years from 2019-20 to 2023-24 to ensure economy of scale for the farmers. The Central Government will continue to support each FPO for 5 years from the year of inception. All Farmer Produce Organizations (FPOs) aim to provide a platform to small farmers. This will enable farmers to collectively tackle their challenges such as access to agricultural inputs and marketing of produce.
First of all, Prime Minister Modi launched a nationwide launch of farmer producer organizations under this scheme on 9 February 2020 in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The Modi government is constantly striving to double the income of the farmers. After bringing the new agriculture bill, the government is going to give gifts to the farmers to make agriculture a business. Therefore, now the Modi government will provide 15 lakh rupees to the farmers to start a new agricultural business.

Even if the FPOs created under this scheme will work to increase the income of farmers, will empower PM Modi to realize the vision of doubling farmers’ income by 2022, till now farmers were only producers of crops, but now PM Through the Modi FPO scheme, they will be able to negotiate and trade the prices of their products with the traders. The central government has started this scheme to directly benefit the farmers.
With the implementation of the scheme, now farmers will not have to talk to any middleman. Under this scheme, farmers will be paid in installments over three years. Under this scheme, Rs 6885 crore will be spent by the government till 2024.

How farmers will get 15 lakhs under PM Kisan FPO Scheme?
To provide financial help to the farmers, the government has implemented the PM Kisan FPO scheme across the country. Under this scheme of the central government, Rs 15 lakh will be given by the government to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). What is FPO ?
The concept behind farmer producer organizations is that farmers, who are producers of agricultural products, can form groups. To facilitate this process, Small Farmers’ Agribusiness Association (SFAC) was mandated by the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India to support the State Governments in the formation of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

FPOs/FPCs can act as an aggregator for their member and can sell as one/multiple lots through e-trading on a need basis. Also, some of the key benefits of the scheme are the following taxation: –
- The payment will be made directly into the bank account of the FPO/FPC and can be distributed among the FPO/FPC members.
- Provision for setting up storage/sorting/grading/packing facilities.
- Provision for personalized dashboards and real-time information on arrival, quality and price of goods.
- FPOs will provide collective bargaining power to the farmers and help them to get fair price for their produce.
- These FPOs will be spread up to the block level especially in tribal areas and 100 aspirational districts so that the scheme can be expanded to a great extent.

FPOs/FPCs can register on the e-NAM portal through the website (www.enam.gov.in) or through the mobile app or by visiting the nearest e-NAM mandi or register on the e-NAM portal by following the procedure given below:-

- To register , click on the “Registration” link in the top corner

- Upload the required documents after filling the form
- Finally after checking all the details click on “Submit” button to complete the registration
