The Uttar Pradesh government will soon launch a new scheme for Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021 workers’ children for the entire UP. In this scheme, the state government will provide monthly financial assistance to prevent the children of workers from working as child laborers and focus on their studies. CM Yogi Ji launched this scheme on 12 June 2020 by sending funds to about 2000 children.
The new Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2021 was scheduled to be launched in late March but was delayed due to the lockdown. And as the official launch of this child labor scheme on 12 June 2020, more than 2,000 children were sent assistance. Initially, this scheme has been launched on trial basis only in 10 districts.
To benefit more students and prevent them from working as child laborers, UP Mazdoor Bal Shiksha Yojana will soon be implemented across the state with the official website of the scheme.

If any of you are looking for a website to apply online in the scheme, then let me tell you, for now, no website has been launched by the government to apply online under the scheme.
However, online applications for Mazdoor Bal Shiksha Yojana can be invited on the official UP government website or on a new dedicated portal. As soon as the process of filling Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana Online Application / Registration Form starts, we will update the post and inform you.
According to preliminary reports, there will be a conditional cash transfer for child workers. Apart from this, the UP government will provide high amount to the girls to help them in their studies and keep them away from work.
How will the beneficiaries identified
As soon as online applications will be invited online for the Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana, since that time the work of identifying such children of laborers has now been given to the Labor Department. The UP Labor Department will manage the UP Child Labor Education Scheme and its beneficiaries.
This scheme is important because UP is among the states which has more number of cases related to child labor. Thus, the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government has decided that the cash transfer under the new scheme will be conditional, ie, given only on meeting the prescribed conditions.
The UP state government has set a target of starting a phase-wise employment program for laborers in the state. Yogi Adityanath has directed the Divisional Commissioners to review the development works in the districts so that COVID-19 can progress till the lockdown.
These officers will also check how much work is left in each district. The District Magistrates would then be directed to prepare a plan to carry out these tasks on a priority basis.
Yogi ji has also directed that the central and state government’s development plans should be implemented on one hand, while on the other side, laborers and laborers should be provided employment. This will help in the “Navnirman” of the entire Uttar Pradesh state.
