Madhya Pradesh government has started a new scholarship scheme for the girl students of the state. The name of this government scheme is Gaon Ki Beti Yojana under which the state government will provide financial assistance to all the talented girl students. The purpose of this Gaon Ki Beti Yojana is to provide financial assistance to the talented girls of rural areas to encourage them to pursue higher education. The scholarship will be given at the rate of Rs.500 per month for 10 months to the girl students who have passed class 12th every year from every village of the state.
