Components of PM Asha Scheme

Following are some of the main components of PM Asha Yojana:

1. Price Support Scheme – Price Support Scheme (PSS)

Central nodal agencies in collaboration with the state government will procure pulses and oilseeds through the Price Support Scheme. The Food Corporation of India will set up the PSS with Nafed, and the Central Government will bear any expenses, besides the expenses incurred on procurement under the scheme and the losses incurred during procurement as per the Union Government norms.
